# Moving a Test Site to a Live Site

**Test sites** are environments created without a custom domain name.

They are accessible via a **temporary domain** automatically assigned during creation.

To turn a test site into a **live site**, you simply need to link a custom domain name to it.

#### How to link a domain

We have simplified this process so you can do it directly from the **"Sites"** tab:

1. Click the **three dots (menu icon)** in the top-right corner of your test site card.
2. Select **"Link a domain"**.

A pop-up will appear where you can:
* **Select a domain:** Choose the domain you want to use from your list of available domains.
* **Buy a domain:** If you don't have a domain yet, you can purchase one directly through this window.

Once selected, click **"Add"** to finalize the process.

#### ⚠️ Important Warning

All your domains will appear in this list.
**If you select a domain that is already linked to another site**, that site will lose its custom domain and will automatically revert to a **"Test site"** with a temporary domain.
