# Switching from a "Live" site to a "Test" site

* **Live Site:** A website with a custom domain name attached (e.g., `mysite.com`).
* **Test Site:** A website using a temporary staging domain (e.g., `mysite.eu2.copilhost.cloud`).
If you want to switch a **Live** site back to a **Test** site, you simply need to detach the domain name from your website.

#### How to disconnect your domain:

1. Go to the **"Sites"** tab and click **"Manage"** on the relevant site.
2. Click on the **"Linked Domains"** (or "Domaines liés") tab in the left-hand menu.
3. Click the **trash icon** to the right of the domain name.
A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your choice.

> **Note:** If multiple domain names are linked to the site and you wish to delete the **Primary Domain**, you will first be asked to select a new primary domain.
> Once selected, you will then be free to delete that new primary domain if needed.
