How to update your PHP version

Updating the PHP version of your WordPress site is quick and easy:

Go to the "Advanced" tab of your site settings and look for the "PHP Version" section.
Open the dropdown menu to see the list of available PHP versions.
Select the version you wish to use.
Click "Confirm" (or "Validate") to install the selected PHP version on your site.

Running a recent version of PHP is essential for your website's security, stability, and performance.

⚠️ A Word of Caution: We do not necessarily recommend jumping to the very latest PHP version as soon as it is released.

Compatibility: To ensure that all your tools (plugins and themes) are fully compatible, it is often safer to select the second-to-last available version.

Safety Net: If you encounter any issues or errors after an update, don't panic! You can always revert to a previous version by following the same steps and selecting an older PHP version.
