Understanding your Cloud Resources

Resource Allocation by Plan

If you have subscribed to an Essential Plan, your allocated resources are:

  • 1 vCPU
  • 0.75GB RAM
  • 10GB Disk Space
  • 2 Free Mailboxes

When you subscribe to a Pro Plan, you can choose between different resource levels:

Pro Level 1 includes:

  • 1 vCPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • 20GB Disk Space
  • 10 Free Mailboxes

Monitoring your Usage

In your Copilhost dashboard, go to "Clouds" tab and click on "Manage" to access detailed analytics for your three key resources: vCPU, RAM, and Disk Space.

Our interactive charts allow you to track CPU and RAM consumption in real-time, or view historical data over the last 24 hours, week, or month.

Disk space usage is displayed via the gauge at the bottom of the page.

💡 Pro Tip: If you notice your website slowing down, check your resource charts. If RAM or CPU usage frequently hits 100%, you should upgrade your Cloud level to maintain optimal performance and prevent "500 Errors."

RAM (Random Access Memory)

Think of RAM as your server's temporary workspace.

The more RAM it has, the more tasks it can handle simultaneously without slowing down. For instance, every time a visitor loads a page, the server uses RAM to process that request instantly.

What to watch for: If RAM is insufficient, your server may struggle, especially during traffic spikes or when running resource-heavy plugins.

Elastic Behavior: RAM usage may sometimes appear high on the chart due to its "elastic" nature, which optimizes performance based on demand. The real test: The most reliable indicator of a RAM shortage is a noticeable drop in website speed.

vCPU (Virtual CPU)

The vCPU is the "brain" of your server. It executes every instruction required to run your site: loading pages, processing data, and managing visitor interactions.

The Copilhost Advantage: Not all vCPUs are created equal. Performance depends on the quality of the underlying hardware and the use of a Content Delivery Network (CDN).

  • Cloudflare Enterprise Integration: Thanks to our native Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, a large portion of your traffic is handled directly by Cloudflare’s global network.
  • Less Load, More Power: Because the CDN offloads common requests, 1 vCPU at Copilhost can handle significantly more traffic than 1 vCPU with a traditional host.
  • Logged-in Users: Note that requests from logged-in users (admins or customers) are processed directly by your server’s vCPU. If your site has a high number of logged-in users, keep a close eye on these metrics. In such cases, we highly recommend enabling the Redis Object Cache option (available on Pro plans only) to significantly reduce database load and improve responsiveness.

Disk Space

Disk space is your Cloud's total storage capacity.

It holds all your website files: images, videos, databases, and backups.

Maintenance: If your disk space is nearly full, you may encounter errors when saving changes or uploading new files.

  • Threshold: If your usage exceeds 80%, we recommend clearing out old files or upgrading to a higher level to increase your storage.
