How to link a domain to your site

You can easily link an existing site or a new one to a domain name (or subdomain) within Copilhost.

Linking a domain to a new site

You can start directly from the domain name by following these steps:

1. Click on "Connect to a site."
2. In the pop-up that appears, select the option on the right: "Add a WordPress site."
3. Enter the name of your site, select the cloud location for hosting, and choose a username and password for your WordPress login.

Your site will be created and automatically accessible via the selected domain name! 🎉

Note: You can also create a new site from the "Sites" tab by clicking "New" > "Create a site." You will then be prompted to link your site to one of the available domains in your Copanel.

Linking a domain to an existing test site

If you have already built your site and are ready to link it to your custom domain, follow these simple steps:

1. Click the "Connect to a site" option next to the domain name.
2. Select the site you wish to link to the domain.
3. Click "Edit domain" and wait a few minutes for the connection to finalize.

Alternatively, you can link a domain directly from the site management page:

1. Go to your test site’s dashboard, click the three dots menu (vertical ellipsis), and select "Connect domain."
2. In the pop-up, select the domain name you want to link and click "Add."

🎉 Within a few minutes, your site will be live and accessible on your domain name!
