Registering a domain name

⚠️ We often talk about "buying" a domain name, but this is technically a misuse of language.

You don't actually "own" a domain name forever; you purchase the right to use it for a specific period.

To keep your domain, you must maintain a subscription that is renewed annually.

How to register a domain with Copilhost:

It’s very simple:

1. Go to the "Domains" tab, click "New", and select "Register a domain"
2. A pop-up will appear. Enter the domain name you are interested in and check its availability by clicking "Verify"
3. Once the availability is confirmed, click "Next"
4. Select an existing billing address or create a new one, then click "Next"
5. Select your payment method and click "Next"
6. Review your order details, accept the Terms of Service (TOS), and click the "Pay and create" button.

🎉 You have successfully registered your domain name for the year!

You can now find it in your domain list under the "Domains" tab.
